Liverpool Surgical Supplies has been trading for over 30 years, specialising in ready to wear compression garments.
Our office is located in Moorebank NSW and we are a preferred supplier to many doctors, specialists and therapists as well as a large cross section of the community, including community nursing, hospitals and clinics both intrastate and interstate.
Due to the high demand for compression garments, consults were introduced in 2020.
Consults are by appointment only, however if a client’s needs are determined to be urgent, an exception will be made at the discretion of staff.
Consult time normally ranges between 30-45 minutes. During this time one of our dedicated staff will confirm what garment is required and take client measurements to determine correct sizing. Style and colour are discussed, and a full demonstration is given showing the correct application and removal techniques for the garment.
The option of a garment applicator/remover is discussed and demonstrated. Verbal and written instructions are given to the client along with contact details for any future questions that may arise regarding the garment.
Our opening hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. However, we do not consult on a Wednesday and appointment times are between 9am-1pm only.
Whilst compression garments may be worn for a variety of reasons, we highly recommend that appropriate medical advice be sought prior to making an appointment.
Garments should not be self-prescribed and compressions grades above Class 1 (15-20mmHg) will not be supplied without a referral from a medical professional. Please contact our office to discuss an appointment – 02 9602 0069.
